Finished it
I'm quite proud of it :D Although the shading has a lot to be desired.. wonky light source..

It reminds me of okami... just the paper

He seems angsty. I'd imagine him to be saying "Back OFF"
I'm a HUGE wolf's rain fan- I just LOVE the anime.. for the fact it has wolves- and that its so beautifully done. The story itself isn't as good- but the animation for me makes up for it.

He kinda reflects my current mood- I can't beLIEVE my camera broke... :P
I've sent it away to be fixed- but its likely to cost way over £100... eugh

New colouring technique- seems to work for me :D

Hey I LOVED Wolfs Rain too! Not just the drawing style the plot and the message.. i cried so much at the end LOL XD

Well, I drew my original lineart on watercolour paper. Thats what gave it that texture. I gave it a sepia tint fiddling around with the adjustments/brightness/contrast on paint shop pro. Then I randomly blotched out areas using a big dodge brush, being careful not to bleach the lineart too much. Then it looked like this [link]

So after that I just coloured the whole thing using a dodge brush. The bits I wanted in shaddow I didn't lighten
