I've heard a lot of people recently slamming on younger artists or those with less developed talent who sign their work. I was ALWAYS taught from a very young age to sign everything I did. Purposely signing my work, so I knew when I drew it, was just normal to me. Nowadays I sign my art incase it goes missing on the internet and somone tries to steal it- which has happened to me regularily too. Back in school we always had to write our names on our art to identify it.
I really don't 'get' whats so bad about it.

Briefly back from the dead
Hey guys,
I've had such a long hiatus from art. I've been really ill over the last 6 months, but even long before that I was just a bit fed up with creating. So it really feels like an age since I did anything arty.
However, I'm doing my best to dive back in it. Maybe if I write my intentions then you can hold me accountable ;). Come find me on twitter, that's where I hang out most online. Poke me and say oi, you drawing right now? You're not? WHY NOT? Get to it!

Do you ever say or do something and then can't stop cringing about it for days and weeks after? And if you're super unlucky, you do a whole string of embarrassing things in a short period of time. Then you just want to sink into the floor so that you never have to interact with another human being again?
I feel like the most awkward person in the world right now. I've done and said so many things lately that have been taken the wrong way by folk. Or I've said unnecessary things. And you replay the cringe moment over and over again in your mind like you your own mini internal torture chamber.

Warriors fans- A new book series you NEED to read.

Anyone interested in Warriors should REALLY try out the series of books I just finished.
'The Chronicals of Ancient Darkeness' by Michelle Paver. The first book is called 'Wolf Brother'. I first read them when I was a teenager (like warriors haha) but got back into it when I was an adult and finished off all 6 books. They are very well written books (unlike some other repetitive series I still like, cough-WARRIORS-cough) I actually listened to them on audible which I HIGHLY recommend because its read by Ian McKellen. Signing you work to me is fine weather or not you are younger or your skills are developed. There is nothing wrong with claiming your art as your own.
